Tom is serving as Nassau’s Interim Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the global finance and actuarial functions, providing oversight and leadership for financial planning, accounting and financial reporting, capital management, treasury, and all actuarial areas.

He served as Nassau's Chief Financial Officer from 2016 until his retirement in 2020 and has continued to serve on Nassau’s insurance company board.

Prior to Nassau, Tom served as a director of Fidelity & Guaranty Life (NYSE: FGL) and was executive vice president and chief financial officer of HRG Group Inc. (NYSE: HRG). He also served as a director of Front Street Re (a Cayman Islands-based reinsurer). Previously, he was president and chief executive officer of RDA Holding Co., the parent company of Reader’s Digest, and RDA’s CFO.

Earlier in his career, Tom served as executive vice president & chief financial officer for Affinion Group Holdings, Inc., a portfolio company of Apollo Management, L.P., and spent more than 21 years with AT&T, Inc. in a progression of senior financial and officer positions.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of South Florida.
