Actuarial Internship Program

Our 10-week paid summer internship program prepares college students for careers on the cutting edge of actuarial science. This is where our search for great talent begins!

  • Work on real-life projects with our actuarial community and senior leaders
  • Our paid internships allow you to earn as you learn while working at the office or on a hybrid schedule with all the necessary tools, equipment, and resources you need to be successful in your role
  • Participate in activities designed to aid in your success, including:
  • – An open forum with our CEO

    – Forums with Nassau actuaries

    – Leadership and technical training programs

    – Informal social gatherings with fellow interns, actuarial students, and senior leaders

    – Community service projects

  • Earn the chance to return for a full-time position in Nassau's Actuarial Student Development program
Actuarial Student Development Program

We hire college graduates who want a fast-track career in the insurance and financial services industry. We expect great things from our actuaries, and we fully prepare them for future leadership roles at Nassau.

  • Work in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment as an integral team player driving our success
  • Rotate positions on a personalized 12-24 month cycle to gain exposure in actuarial management, corporate actuarial, modeling, product development, and data analytics
  • Develop leadership abilities through various work initiatives, corporate programs, and strong one-to-one mentoring
  • Earn as you learn, and receive pay increases for passing exams with bonuses for passing exams on the first attempt
  • Receive latest editions of exam materials, reimbursement of testing and seminar fees, generous study hours, and the latest editions of exam materials to help obtain Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
  • Work at the office or on a hybrid schedule with all the necessary tools, equipment, and resources you need to be successful in the program
